1980s Vintage Attwood & Sawyer Pear Shaped Brooch

Classic style. 22ct gold plated brooch features sapphire coloured pear shaped cabochon surrounded by brilliant clear round-cut Swarovski crystals. Safety-catch pin closure. Signed A&S for Attwood and Sawyer. 22ct Gold plate, lucite and Swarovski crystals, 2.5 cm ABOUT THE DESIGNER Established in England in the mid-fifties, Attwood & Sawyer specialised in creating costume reproductions of fine jewellery. Many of their most popular items were interpretations of the Duchess of Windsor's personal collection. Their high quality approach to bold costume jewellery is now very sought after. The brand had a very strong presence across the UK and Europe, and went on to produce the jewellery for the television series "Dallas" and "Dynasty" in the 80`s.
