Undeniable elegance from Trifari. As seen on Imelda Staunton portraying the late Queen Elizabeth in The Crown Season 6. This fabulously textured gold plated flower basket brooch features luminous faux pearls in a floral design. It closes with a safety-catch pin, signed Trifari. Gold plate and faux pearls, 4 cm x 4.5 cm ABOUT THE DESIGNER Trifari created some of the most desirable costume jewellery of the twentieth century, many of its designers having trained and designed at Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier. Amongst them was Alfred Phillipe who joined Trifari in 1930 as head designer and Andre Boeuf another celebrated signature designer from Cartier who became lead designer in the 60s once Alfred Phillipe retired. The company patented its own non-tarnish metal, calling it Trifanium.
