1980s Vintage Chanel Quilted Clip-On Earrings

The most desired label in the world. Gold plated quilted clip-on earrings. Features embossed quilted patterning and iconic CC logo, stamped with Chanel authenticity mark. Chanel`s quilting detail was inspired by the puffy jackets worn by the horse breeders at her lover Captain Arthur Edward "Boy" Capel`s stables. It was first seen on her 2.55 handbag which was created in February 1955 and the quilted detail so often seen on her Chanel jewellery was introduced in the 80`s under the helm of Victoire De Castellane.
