1980s Vintage Chanel CC Logo Coin Necklace

Gold plated rope chain logo necklace. Features textured CC logo pendant with quilted detail. Signed Chanel. Chanel`s quilting detail was inspired by the puffy jackets worn by the horse breeders at her lover Captain Arthur Edward "Boy" Capel`s stables. It was first seen on her 2.55 handbag which was created in February 1955 and the quilted detail so often seen on her Chanel jewellery was introduced in the 80`s under the helm of Victoire De Castellane.
