Beautifully unique and rare. This gold plated flex cord necklace features a deco style centrepiece embellished with baguette and round-cut clear Swarovski crystals and luminous faux pearls. It closes with an adjustable weighted chain and hook, signed Trifari. Gold plate, faux pearls and Swarovski crystals, Adjustable to 40 cm ABOUT THE DESIGNER Trifari created some of the most desirable costume jewellery of the twentieth century, many of its designers having trained and designed at Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier. Amongst them was Alfred Phillipe who joined Trifari in 1930 as head designer and Andre Boeuf another celebrated signature designer from Cartier who became lead designer in the 60s once Alfred Phillipe retired. The company patented its own non-tarnish metal, calling it Trifanium.
